Over the weekend I was able to finish all of my rhythm guitar tracks. Octavio and I had a good time mixing all the different amps in various ways for each song. All of the songs have a different tonal character, which is really cool because we’ve always just found one guitar sound and used it for every track. This time there’s a bit of dynamic when it comes to the type of amps you hear throughout the record. We’re stoked! Some notable combos: the Vox AC-30 mixed with the Fender DeVille on “I Never See You Anymore” and the Bogner Shiva also mixed with the Vox AC-30 on “Miles of Country”.

Next up we have guitar leads and vocals… I’ll get pictures up as soon as we take enough to make another collage thingy.
